About

I am a designer of all things visual and imagined. I enjoy structural rhythm and mechanical workings. I respect architecture and furniture design for having followed through their function to their innate design, and to beauty. Graphic Design is no different in its purpose and a solution is just as clear, as it needs infrastructure to survive.

My life began... I lived in a little beach town in South Florida until I was five, since then I have called Atlanta home. My pursuit of graphic design began with problem solving legos I think. I never kept my instructions after I created the purposed idea on the box, so I was always trying to see what I could come up with the legos I had left. I have always been a geek, winning science fair competitions with 'how crystals grow' and 'what refracts coherent light' and even a stock market competition by the age of fourteen[although this experience has not helped me in the stock market]. I have always enjoyed taking computers apart and fixing them. By the time I was in high school I was beginning to learn about the field of graphic design. At this time I was being employed by Northpoint Community Church to create animations, t shirts, and assist in video productions. My senior year I met a man who would later become my friend and mentor who was established in the field of graphic design and seemed to enjoy all things creative. We began comparing photography, talking about how to break the norms and looking for clients who wanted this fresh outlook. After that I went off to Jacksonville University in Florida on a crew scholarsip where it did not take long for me to realize that just because you are successful at something, it does not mean that you want to pursue it. So after winning fifth place in the collegiate novice men's 8 at nationals in Philadelphia I decided to attend SCAD. The Savannah College of Art & Design seemed like the perfect place to be challenged and engage with all different types of art associated degrees. I finally found a place where I felt challenged as well as humbled by the people I was surrounded with. It was great to walk down a hallway and receive feedback about your work from a photography/animation/fashion/painting students all at the same time.

While in school I began working at a finishing company, a letterpress shop, a clothing boutique business and freelanced over the three year period. Upon graduation and completing my studies I began pursuing contract work where I have honed my post graduate skills...
